Plot

Using clever tricks, virologist Kim and her half-sisters Lesley and Olivia break into a bank's safe deposit box room. But Kim isn't looking for money or jewelry - she's looking for proof. She wants to expose her former colleague Christian Heisinger as a fraud who stole her research on an HIV vaccine and passed it off as his own. But the break-in fails - the alarm is triggered and all three are arrested. Five years later, the prison gates open again. Olivia and Lesley are just happy to be out again, but Kim has already forged a new plan in prison: Heisinger is about to launch her vaccine. Kim suspects that the crucial evidence against him is in a safe at Heisinger's company headquarters - and she wants to strike again at the upcoming investor event. But she needs her sisters for the coup. At first, they hesitate, wanting to get their lives back on track. Only when Lesley's snack bar is facing foreclosure and her daughter Fritzi persuades Olivia to help in the name of justice and emancipation is the trio reunited. Will the sisters succeed in bringing the truth to light and giving Kim her deserved recognition?
