Plot

As soon as Maria, Dana and Julie have reconciled, dark clouds gather again in the women's flat share. In their mother's diary, the three come across a clue that one of them was adopted. But which? Doubts about their identities bother the sisters more than they want to admit. A request to the registry office should bring clarity. Meanwhile, Julie escapes into hectic activities. After the divorce from Bertram, she looks for a new job and takes care of her daughter Viola and her son-in-law Gerd - until she almost triggers a catastrophe with her well-meant care. Meanwhile, Dana is head over heels in love and, for God's sake, doesn't want to do anything wrong. Fearing that her heart man Christian, a charming, sensitive company boss, could be scared off by a modern career woman, she pretends to be a housekeeper. - But Christian doesn't seem to be who he claims to be either. Finally, Maria worries about the love life of her still unmarried son Robert. The clever housekeeper Veronikan would actually be just the right person for him. So that Robert understands this too, Maria resorts to unusually rough methods. In the end, the long-awaited message from the registry office arrives. But do the three sisters really want to open the letter?
